STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Fresh off of Tarleton State Women's Soccer first WAC Tournament berth in their third season as a program, head coach
Pete Cuadrado announced class of 2025 National Signing Day recruiting class.
The Texans set program records with nine overall victories and three conference wins in 2024.
Tarleton announced the addition of four student-athletes for the class of 2025 on National Signing Day, the first National Letter of Intent signing day for athletes set to begin their collegiate careers next fall.
This year's four student-athlete class includes a pair from the lone star state and a duo from Australia. DJ Beal and Tori Lucksinger hail from the state of Texas and will begin their collegiate careers in Stephenville. Phoebe Riley and Zoe Daly will follow in the footsteps of current Texan
Adelaide Wyrzynski and make the trek from Australia to Texas to begin their collegiate career.
"We are very excited about our 2025 class," said coach Cuadrado during his press conference. "These ladies will have a positive impact to our program on and off the field and continue to push us forward.
The complete National Signing Day class of 2025 consists of the following standouts:
DJ Beal
DJ Beal is a 5'6 defender from Cedar Hill, Texas. She was a three-year starter on varsity at Waxahachie high school where she spent her final season as a team captain. As a freshman she lettered in both track and field and soccer. Also during her freshman season on the pitch she was named Honorable Mention 11-6A. As a junior she posted 14 goals and 11 assists to earn the honor of Midfielder of the Year. She also earned back-to-back 1
st team All-District and All-Ellis County honors as well as Offensive Player of the Year. In the classroom she was a two-time 11-6A Academic All-District selection. She earned A/B honor roll status in each of her academic semesters. As a club soccer player for Dallas Sting Black, DJ competed for an ECNL national title in 2023. She advanced to the ECNL quarterfinals being on one of the top 8 girls club teams in the nation. DJ is the daughter of James and Cody Beal and has two sisters, Destiny and Emerald. She intends to major in marine biology and be a marine biologist.
Tori Lucksinger
Tori Lucksinger is a 5'9 defender/midfielder from Temple, Texas. Played three varsity seasons at Belton High School. She was named First Team All-District in three consecutive years from 2022 to 2024. In 2022 she was named Super-CenTex Honorable Mention and helped her team to a 2022 Area championship. The following year she was named Team Defensive MVP and honorable mention All-State. She helped guide her squad to the 2023 Regional finals. In 2024 she was selected to the Super-CenTex First Team, Second Team All-Region and the 22-5A Defensive Player of the Year. She served as team captain and was named team MVP in 2024 for the 2024 BI-District championship squad, a team that did not allow a single goal in 2024 district season. She played club soccer for Georgetown Force. Also a standout in the classroom, she was named Academic All District 2022, 2023, 2024. She was involved in many extracurriculars including being a National Honor Society Member in 2023 & 2024, an AP Scholar in 2023 and an AP Scholar with Distinction in 2024. She served as a Student Council Member in 2023 & 2024 and earned the Academic Excellence Award in 2023 & 2024. She is the daughter of Adam and Jessica Lucksinger and has one sister, Abby. She intends to major in animal science and aspires to be a veterinarian.
Phoebe Riley
Phoebe Riley is a 5'9 forward from Sydney, Australia. She play with the Northern Tigers of the NPL. She attended high school at Barker College. Riley was a member of the 2021and 2023 ISA Champions. She earned a selection to the All-ISA team in 2021, 22 and 23. In 2021, she earned a selection to the CIS team. She is the daughter of Christopher and Jane Riley. Riley intends to major in psychology.
Zoe Daly
Zoe Daly is a 6'0 forward/defender from Newcastle, Australia. She played for the Newcastle Jets and attended Hunter Sports High. She represented Northern NSW at National Youth Championship in 2018 and 2019. Her team finished first at the 2023 National Training Camps. Also competed in track and field where she qualified for nationals in the 100 meter and 4x100 meter relay. She holds the regional record in the 100-meter sprint. She is the daughter of Donna and Eugene Daly and has one sister, Zali. She intends to major in exercise science and kinesiology and aspires to be a chiropractor.
Tarleton State will be back in action in 2025. A full schedule will be released in the spring ahead of next season's action.
