LINCOLN, Neb.  – Tarleton Women's Basketball will play its second nationally-ranked opponent of the season Wednesday, taking on #24 Nebraska at Pinnacle Bank Arena at 7 p.m.

The Huskers are the third NCAA Tournament team from 2024 the Texans have faced this season, also going up against Arizona and #4 nationally-ranked Texas earlier in the year. This will be the second meeting between Nebraska and Tarleton in women's basketball.

The game will be available to watch on Big Ten Network+ and fans can listen to Clayton Neville's radio call on Tarleton Sports Network. Neville will have a 30-minute pregame show starting at 6:30 p.m. and a 30-minute postgame show will follow each game.

  • Tarleton held Delaware to a 40 points in its Big Easy Classic opener for a 54-40 victory Nov. 29.

  • Freshman guard Grace Booth recorded her first collegiate double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Guards Niki Van Wyk (11 points) and Kyriana Jones (10 points also added double-digit scoring numbers off the bench against LeTourneau (12/7).
  • Tarleton State has a record of 5-2 under head coach Bill Brock when the Texans' bench scores at least 30 points.
