STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Tarleton State Beach Volleyball had six student-athletes celebrated by Conference USA this week for their work on the courts and in the classroom.
 
CUSA announced that Texans Charlize Ching and Grayson Schirpik were named Commissioner's Academic Medal winners. Student-athletes who earn the Commissioner's Academic Medal maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 or better.
 
Ching and Schirpik were among six Texan Beach Volleyball student-athletes named to the CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll, along with Rajini Fitzmaurice, Isabel Gonzaba, Emma Halcomb and Faith Wilkins. In order to earn that tag, student-athletes needed to maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.
 
The Texans played their inaugural season in 2023-24. In their initial Conference USA Beach Volleyball Championship Tournament, the Texans won their first postseason match, defeating Jacksonville State 3-1.
