STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Broadcast details for Tarleton State Football's season opener have been altered, as the game will now be played on ESPN2.
Tarleton State's 2024 opener against McNeese on Aug. 24 will kick off at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Stadium and will be shown to a nationwide audience on ESPN2. The nationally broadcast game will mark Tarleton Football's first time on linear television on ESPN platforms.
Tarleton and McNeese were previously scheduled to play on ESPNU, before Wednesday's announcement.
The matchup between the Texans and Cowboys is one of just seven Week 0 games across NCAA Division I between FBS and FCS.
Season tickets are on sale and can be purchased
here. Single-game tickets will be available on Aug. 19, as Tarleton Athletics plans to open single-game ticket sales for each home game on the Monday of each home game week.
