STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Tarleton State Soccer hosts Oral Roberts on Thursday night at the Tarleton Soccer Complex during its two-game winning streak.
 
Thursday's match against the Golden Eagles will be streamed on ESPN+ at 7 p.m. at Tarleton State Soccer Complex. Follow @tarletonsoccer on Instagram, X and Facebook for live updates, highlights and content. As always, admission is free to all fans throughout the season to all games.
 
Thursday night will be Residence Life on the pitch. Early-arriving students will receive a free pair of purple Tarleton socks. The first 200 arriving students to show ID will receive a free Chik-Fil-A sandwich. All fans will be invited to play nine-hole mini golf during the game as well.
 
Last weekend, the Texans notched a pair of road victories. On Friday night, the Texans knocked off Prairie View A&M, 3-0. 
Stevie Reynolds notched a goal and assist against the Panthers to record her first three-point game as a Texan. 
Reegan Wagg scored her first collegiate goal and 
Una Hlynsdóttir notched her second goal of the season. Reynolds notched her second goal in as many games netting the lone goal of the game against Texas A&M-Commerce.
 
The Texans had a record setting night earning their first win of the season last Thursday against Austin College. As a team, Tarleton set new single game records with 46 shots, 23 shots on goal, 17 corner kicks, eight goals and six assists. Freshman

Kaitlyn Flanagan each netted their first collegiate goals during the contest. 
Jenaya Brown knocked in the Texans' second penalty kick in program history.
 
Sophomore 
Lauren Grissom set numerous individual records as well. Grissom notched the first hat trick in program history, ending the night with four goals. She is one of three players this season in Division I to accomplish that feat. Her eight points, ranks second in the nation in a single game.
 
Goalkeeper 
Mikayla Kendall leads the nation with 405 minutes played, the most by any goalie. She touts a 0.67 GAA with 26 saves. She is credited with one solo shutout and one combined shutout with 
Rylie Bloomfield on Thursday night. On Sunday, she posted 13 saves, the second highest mark of her Texan career. Kendall ranks ninth among active D1 goalkeepers with 5.32 saves per game
 
The Texans rank 29
th in the nation with 14 total goals. That makes the Texans alone at the top of the WAC. Tarleton ranks 41
st in the NCAA with 37 points. The Texans lead the league in points. The Purple and White are 23
rd in the NCAA in goal differential, +11 which also leads the conference. TSU leads the WAC in shots on goal per game (7.86) and shot accuracy (.471). The squad ranks second in the league in shots per game (15.71), corners (5.71), fouls (7.0), The Texan goalkeepers rank 12th in the nation and second in the WAC with a .921 save percentage. The team ranks 31st in the nation and tops the WAC in GAA (.429).
 
Jaycie Bass leads the WAC and ranks 35th in the NCAA with three assists. 
Lauren Grissom tops the WAC with four goals and is third with eight points.
 
Head coach 
Pete Cuadrado is in his 21
st season as a collegiate head coach with Tarleton his third stop on his journey. He started his career at North Dakota State before spending time at Wyoming. During his career, he has amassed 181 wins, with 11 of those coming in the first two seasons of the Tarleton program.
 
Cuadrado retained both of his assistants from the previous two seasons and added a new face to the staff ahead of the 2024 campaign. Assistant coaches 
Rex Carrell and 
Delaney Castor will be on the sidelines for their third season, while Carrell was also a part of the building of the team in 2021, marking 2024 his fourth year with the program. Cuadrado added Stephenville native and retired professional soccer player Bailey Chaviers ahead of the season. Chaviers spent three years at The U, before heading overseas to play two seasons in Iceland. She then returned to the United State for the 2023 season but was injured during the preseason for the Chicago Red Stars.
 
Tarleton will hit the road for a Sunday morning matchup against Grambling State at 11 a.m. at the GSU Soccer Field.
