STEPHENVILLE, Texas – The 2025 Tarleton State Football schedule was announced Wednesday morning. Tarleton State Athletics announced a special trip on Wednesday afternoon involving an early road game for the Texans against an American Athletic Conference program.
 
Tarleton State Athletics will be hosting a Texan Football VIP Experience at West Point on the weekend that Tarleton State faces Army.
 
The Texans and Black Knights will square off on Aug. 30 at Michie Stadium in West Point, New York, marking Tarleton State's first game against an FBS team outside of the Big 12. Both the Texans and Black Knights are coming off of a pair of the best seasons in program histories, with Tarleton State advancing to the second round of the FCS Playoffs and Army winning a program record 12 games and the Independence Bowl.
