STEPHENVILLE, Texas – The second postseason version of the
Todd Whitten Show will air on Thursday, Dec. 11, at 12 p.m. live at Triple Crown Ford, Tarleton State Athletics announced on Tuesday.
Thursday's
Todd Whitten Show, presented by Triple Crown Ford, will broadcast live in the lobby of Triple Crown Ford, located at 2975 W. Washington St. in Stephenville. The 30-minute postseason show ahead of Tarleton State's FCS Playoffs Quarterfinals game at home against Villanova will feature Texan Football head coach
Todd Whitten and Tarleton State's leading tackler, linebacker
AJ Owens.
Students and fans are encouraged to attend live. Lunch will be provided by Cicis Pizza in Stephenville to those in attendance. The show will air on the flagship station of Tarleton State Athletics, KTRL 90.5 FM in Stephenville, Texas, and worldwide at TarletonSports.com/Watch.
Tarleton State, the 4-seed, is one of eight teams remaining in the FCS Playoffs, along with 2-seed Montana State, 3-seed Montana, 7-seed Stephen F. Austin, 8-seed UC Davis, 11-seed South Dakota, 12-seed Villanova, and unseeded Illinois State. This is the furthest Tarleton State has advanced in the playoffs in its second season of postseason eligibility at the NCAA Division I level, as the Texans made it to the second round last year in their first season of eligibility.
Tickets are now available for the game, priced at $25 for reserved seating and $12 for north side general admission. Season ticket holders have first opportunity to claim their seats, simply needing to log into their accounts online or call 254-968-1832 to purchase. Season ticket holders must claim by Tuesday at noon before seats are released to the public. As for Tarleton State students, staff and faculty, tickets will be free. Staff and faculty can claim two free tickets now, and students will get in free through the Corq app, like they have most of this season.
