STEPHENVILLE, Texas – After a strong start to the 2025 campaign, Tarleton State Beach Volleyball announced a signing for the 2026 season on Monday.
The Texans will add Candace Ceballos to the team next season, a Mt. San Antonio College transfer who made the All-Conference team in both beach volleyball and indoor volleyball.
Ceballos, a 5-9 student-athlete originally from Azusa, California, is in her second year at Mt. San Antonio College. This past May, she made the 3C2A So Cal and State Championships, finishing ninth with her partner out of 235 pairs. She made Second Team All-Conference in the beach season in 2024.
Across the last two seasons of indoor volleyball, Ceballos played in 54 matches, logging 441 kills, second most on the team in each season. This past November, Ceballos was named to the All-SCC First Team.
Ceballos had a strong prep career at Charter Oak High School in Covina, California, earning First Team All-League honors in back-to-back year (2021-22) and recognized as the 2023 Valle Vista League MVP.
She will study communications at Tarleton State University.
