STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Tarleton State's second game of the 2025 campaign will be a day earlier than originally planned, as the Texans announced Friday their game at Army will now be played on Friday, Aug. 29.
 
The Texans and Black Knights were originally scheduled to play at Michie Stadium in West Point, New York, on Saturday, Aug. 30, but that game has been moved up a day for a Friday contest.
 
With already a Week 0 game scheduled to open the year on the road at Portland State on Aug. 23, Tarleton State will now have played two games in 2025 before many NCAA Division I programs play their season opener.
