Tarleton State Football 2025 season tickets on sale now

STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Tarleton State Football 2025 season tickets are now on sale, Tarleton State Athletics announced on Monday.

Season tickets for Tarleton State's six home games start at just $60 per month, or $10 per month on payment plans (all payment plans end in August). Reserved season tickets start at just $75. Season tickets can be purchased here: https://tarletonsports.evenue.net/list/FB

The Texans will begin their 2025 campaign at home against Mississippi Valley State on Sept. 6. The Texans hosted the Delta Devils in 2022 for their season opener, winning 29-13 on the first day of September. As Tarleton State has made customary, its home opener will be a Purple Out, with the Freshman Run occurring pregame.

Tarleton's second home game will be on Sept. 20 for Family Weekend in Stephenville, with Tarleton State hosting Chattanooga for the duo's first meeting. The Mocs out of the Southern Conference have posted five straight winning seasons, including an 8-5 campaign in 2023 that featured a run to the second round of the FCS Playoffs.

For Tarleton's third home game, the Texans' classic series against the Southern Utah Thunderbirds will play another chapter on Oct. 4 in Stephenville for Tarleton State's Legends Game. The conference foes are 2-2 over the past four years, with the combined margin of victory sitting at nine points. Last season marked the second straight one-point result, as Tarleton State left Cedar City, Utah, with a 38-37 overtime win.

On Oct. 18, Homecoming will feature a conference game between Tarleton State and West Georgia at Memorial Stadium. This will be the Wolves' first trip to Stephenville after starting their run in the UAC last season. Tarleton State won 38-21 in Carrollton, Georgia, this past season on UWG's Senior Day.

Tarleton's final two regular season games will be at home on Nov. 15 and Nov. 22. First, the Texans will host North Alabama on Military Appreciation, a Lions team that Tarleton now owns a 4-1 all-time record against. On Senior Day, the Texans will host Austin Peay for the first time. Tarleton State beat the 2023 UAC champions last year in Clarksville, Tennessee, 27-17.

The Texans, who also began spring practices on Monday, are coming off of a record-breaking season featuring the program's first ever FCS playoff game and win. Last year, the Texans became the fifth team in the history of the FCS Playoffs to win their first playoff game at the FCS level in their first year eligible after reclassifying from NCAA Division II. The Texans finished 10-4 overall and 6-2 in conference play, reaching double-digit wins for the sixth time in program history. They ended the season ranked No. 12 in the AFCA FCS Coaches Poll and No. 13 in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 Poll.

The 2025 campaign will mark the 10th time the Texans will play 12 or more games in a season, but just the second time they have 12 regular season games, doing so in back-to-back years. The 2025 season will also tie Tarleton State's 2024 campaign for longest regular seasons by number of days at 91.

Two weeks ago, Tarleton State Athletics announced an all-new ticketing platform and seating process. Fans can expect to see several key enhancements in the upcoming season's pricing, including:
  • More affordable options to get in the game
  • More reserved seating availability
  • Additional season parking options
  • Digital tickets
  • Payment plan options

Tarleton State is making several significant venue changes meant to enhance the fan gameday experience. This includes numbering all seats on the west side of Tarleton Memorial Stadium as reserved tickets. With this change, certain sections of the west side will see a price increase while others will become a more affordable option than previous years.

Additionally, all season tickets will have a built in Texan Club donation requirement per ticket. Texan Club donations will help season ticket holders accumulate priority points, qualify for parking and other exclusive benefits.

Fans who renew or purchase their season tickets by March will be eligible for six-month payment plans. Payment plans will be offered to all fans who purchase season tickets before July 31.

The season ticket renewal process began last month with a renewal deadline of Wednesday, April 30. As shown, season tickets in the north end zone are the most economical of the 2025 season and will remain as general admission seating. Sections 101 and 107 are also more cost-effective than previously with both sections seeing a reduction in cost from 2024.

All seat pricing can also be seen here: https://tarletonsports.com/sports/2025/2/20/texan-club-seating-page.aspx

As part of the new seating structure, fans can now purchase reserved season tickets in each of the sections shown. This will offer everyone the flexibility to purchase ahead of time and guarantee a specific seat, whether it be on the front row, aisle, or near a tailgating crew.

All seats sold for the 2024 season will be held for renewal until Wednesday, April 30. Fans wishing to purchase new season tickets or upgrade their current seats may choose from any of the other available seats until that point.

On Thursday, May 1, all unrenewed seats will be released from accounts. Donors and season ticket holders will be contacted based upon priority points order on or after Tuesday, May 5, to purchase any of the recently released seats. Any of these unrenewed seats will not become available to the general public until Wednesday, May 21.
