STEPHENVILLE, Texas - Tarleton State Baseball (8-9) will face off against the UIW Cardinals (8-8) at the Tarleton Baseball Complex on Wednesday at 2 p.m. This will be the first of two midweek matchups between the Texans and Cardinals during the 2025 season.

LORCH MAKES HIS RETURN:
- Tarleton State junior Carson Lorch returned to the field for the Texans since he went down with an injury on opening weekend.
- Lorch tallied a run in three of four games against New Mexico.
- The infielder also had multiple-hit performances during both games of Saturday's doubleheader.
- Lorch had two doubles on Saturday evening, fueling the Texans to a 9-6 comeback victory.
THE HOMETOWN KID SHOWS OUT:
- Texan senior Trace Morrison recorded four hits over the weekend.
- On Friday, Morrison launched a base-clearing three-RBI triple that turned the game around, leading Tarleton State to a 10-4 win.
- Morrison is tied with Slade McCloud for the most steals on the team with eight.
- Morrison ranks second on the team in walks with nine.
