Memorial Day Weekend Sale offered for Tarleton State Women’s Basketball Camps

STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Tarleton State Women's Basketball is offering a Memorial Day Weekend Sale on all its summer basketball camps in 2025.

Kids can enhance their basketball skills at Wisdom Gym starting at just $100 through June 1. Tarleton State Women's Basketball will host the Lil' Texan All-Skills Camp (June 16-18), the Elite Prospect Camp (June 19) and the Texan Shooting Camp (June 25).

Fans can register for any of the camps with the discounted price by going to TarletonWBBCamps.com. Tarleton State Women's Basketball camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).

Lil' Texan All-Skills Camp on June 16-18 is open to girls entering 2nd-8th grade. Camp for grades 2-5 will take place from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and grades 6-8 will have camp from 1-4 p.m.

The Lil' Texan All-Skills Camp is a great opportunity for any player looking to develop their fundamental skills in a fun, energetic, and entertaining environment. Daily fundamental instruction and individual attention for each camper will be provided on shooting, ball handling, passing, defensive techniques, rebounding and more. Campers will compete in free throw, hot shot, 1-on-1 and 3-on-3 contests. All campers will receive a camp t-shirt and camp basketball.

The Elite Prospect Camp held on June 19 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. is designed for high school student-athletes with aspirations of playing basketball at the collegiate level. The Texan coaching staff and current players will provide a specialized and unique experience for all campers, ensuring that every participant leaves campus an improved player. The camp will include individual and positional skill work, competitive practice drills, and 5-on-5 games. Lunch and camp t-shirts will be provided for all participants.

The Texan Shooting Camp held on June 25 from 1-4 p.m. is open to girls entering grades 6-12 This camp is designed to develop higher level shooting and scoring skills, helping players of all abilities refine essential basketball shooting techniques, footwork, and moves to the basket. The camp will be run similarly to college player development workouts. All participants will receive a camp t-shirt and basketball.

Tarleton State is coming off a historic season in 2024-25. The Texans finished with a Division I program record 20 wins en route to its first-ever Division I postseason bid. Finishing second in the WAC, Tarleton State received an automatic bid to the WNIT and played its first-ever Division I postseason game at Wisdom Gym on March 23, 2025.
