Tarleton State Soccer announces 2025 promotional schedule

STEPHENVILLE, Texas – There will be 12 home contests for Tarleton State Soccer this season in Stephenville, and all 12 will have a promotional component for the Texans' fourth season in action.
 
Tarleton State Soccer will open its 2025 home campaign on Sunday, Aug. 17, with a "T-Week Teaser" as Tarleton State Athletics invites all new students to attend the game before T-Week officially starts that night. The Texans will host Houston Christian at 1 p.m. on the day, which is also the final day of Texan Move-In, and Tarleton State will be giving away purple megaphones to fans in attendance to help add to the environment.
 
On Aug. 21, during Tarleton State's first week back on campus for classes, the Texans will host their "Back 2 School Bash" for the 7 p.m. game featuring Tarleton State and Northwestern State. Tarleton State Athletics will be hosting a "tailgate environment" in the parking lot pregame, inviting all students to help welcome the school year back in style. At the pregame event will be a DJ, a dunk tank, large sports inflatables and free Grump's burgers to the first 150 fans in attendance to help celebrate Burger Day.
 
On Sunday, Aug. 31, Tarleton State will begin its 2025 series of "Ice Cream Sundays" for the Texans' 1 p.m. game against Incarnate Word. Starting that day and on every Sunday after that, the Texans will have ice cream available at the soccer home games to help combat the heat and add to the experience.
 
On Sept. 4, for both Tarleton State Soccer and Tarleton State Volleyball who play at nearly the same time in Stephenville, it will be a "Purple Rally" event for Purple Thursday, with Tarleton State Athletics giving away free purple rally towels at both the Tarleton Soccer Complex and Wisdom Gym. Texan Soccer will host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 7 p.m.
 
On Sunday, Sept. 7, the Texans will host a "Bounce Back Brunch" at the Tarleton Soccer Complex, inviting all fans, especially remaining tailgaters from the Sept. 6 Texan Football home opener, to attend a pregame brunch and watch the Texans battle McNeese. The brunch will begin at 11:30 a.m., and the game begins at 1 p.m.
 
On Thursday, Sept. 11, Tarleton State will host "9/11 Remembrance" to help honor the victims from the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attack. On the field, Tarleton State will face Alcorn State at 7 p.m.
 
On Sept. 18, it marks Family Weekend in Stephenville, and there will be family deals at concessions for the Texans' game against Schreiner.
 
On Thursday, Oct. 2, it will be a Purple Out for Tarleton State's first home conference game of the season, with the Texans facing Southern Utah at 7 p.m. Tarleton State will be giving away free purple shirts to encourage the Purple Out.
 
On Sunday, Oct. 5, it will be Youth Soccer Day in Stephenville, as Tarleton State invites all community youth soccer programs to attend.
 
On Oct. 10, Tarleton State and Abilene Christian will clash under the Friday night lights at 7 p.m. It will also be "Military Appreciation", as Tarleton State will have a military themed giveaway and concession deals for veterans and active duty members.
 
On Thursday, Oct. 30, Soctoberfest, presented by Focused Care Partners, will return to the Tarleton Soccer Complex. The Texans will be giving away special drinkware, host a petting zoo, and have Octoberfest-themed food to serve at the concessions. Tarleton State will also have a Halloween costume contest, with the game happening the night before Halloween.
 
To end the home slate for Tarleton State Soccer, the Texans will host both Senior Day and Greek Life Day on Sunday, Nov. 2, for their game against Utah Valley. Tarleton State will honor its long-standing seniors and give Greek Life the best seats in the house, with couches on the field to create a special environment.
 
Promotions, giveaways, game dates and times are subject to change. No tickets are required with free attendance at all Tarleton State Soccer home matches in 2025.
