STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Tarleton State Volleyball's
Alleah Stamatis earned national recognition on Wednesday, named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association Thirty Under 30 Award list.
The Thirty Under 30 program recognizes up-and-coming coaches in different sectors of the sport who serve in a range of roles, from head coach to volunteer assistant to club director. Each of this year's recipients had to be 30 or under as of Dec. 31, 2025, to qualify for the award.
"I'm extremely proud of Alleah and I believe it is so deserving," head coach
Jazmyne Johnson said. "We could not have had the season we had in 2025 without Alleah's determination and investment in making this program better. With Alleah receiving this award, she is being recognized for the things nobody sees behind closed doors. She is also continuing to put Tarleton State on notice."
Stamatis serves as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for Tarleton State Volleyball, entering her second season with the Texans. In her first season on staff, she helped lead the Texans to a 16-10 overall mark, 9-3 in WAC play, third in the conference. Tarleton State won its first postseason conference match in its NCAA Division I era, and had nine more wins year-over-year, with a seven-win improvement in WAC action.
Stamatis has also served as an assistant coach at Mississippi State from 2023-24, and director of volleyball operations at Mississippi State from 2021-2022.
