STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Tarleton State will officially launch the "New Era" in Texan Men's Basketball on Tuesday, March 24, by hosting an introductory press conference for men's basketball head coach Eric Haut.
 
The press conference will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the EECU Center. All media members, students, staff and fans are invited to attend. Doors for the EECU Center will open at 10 a.m.
 
Haut was officially named the 16th men's basketball head coach in program history on March 12. He joins Tarleton State from Utah State, where he has served as Associate Head Coach for two seasons (2024-26). The Aggies will compete in the NCAA Tournament this weekend as a 9-seed, taking on 8-seed Villanova on Friday at 3:10 p.m. CT. The winner of that game will face the winner of 1-seed Arizona and 16-seed Long Island on Sunday in the Round of 32.
