STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Tarleton State Volleyball is back for the 2026 season, as is its annual Block Party, presented by Niccoya. For the first time, however, the Texans will host their special event during a home exhibition match.
 
On Aug. 21 when Tarleton State faces Dallas Baptist in a tune-up match, the Texans will be celebrating their team in style with the Block Party at the same time. Doors will open at 5 p.m. at Wisdom Gym, and fans are encouraged to be seated by 5:30 p.m., when the pre-match activities will begin. At about 5:45 p.m., each member of the 2026 Tarleton State Volleyball team will be introduced, and the exhibition match will begin at 6 p.m.
 
This will be a four-set match with a rave-like atmosphere and special games during timeouts and set breaks. Students and fans are encouraged to don bright, neon colors. Tarleton State Athletics will distribute glow giveaways to fans in attendance to light up the fun.
 
This will be a loud and memorable event, and the perfect introduction for the 2026 Tarleton State Volleyball season.
