Tarleton State Men’s and Women’s Basketball to take part in inaugural UAC Basketball Tipoff event

ALLEN, Texas - Tarleton State Men's and Women's Basketball is set to participate in the United Athletic Conference's (UAC) first-ever Basketball Tipoff event on Thursday, September 24 at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas.

Men's head coach Eric Haut and women's head coach Bill Brock along with two student-athletes from both programs will represent the Texans in the UAC's Tipoff. Coaches and student-athletes will participate in local activities, creative content and media availability throughout the day.

The Field of 68's Jeff Goodman and Talia Goodman from On3 will be on site conducting interviews with all UAC teams. A season preview show will be taped on site and will air on ESPN+ in October leading up to the season. Additional details will be made available to the public at a later date.

Haut will begin his first season as the head coach of Tarleton State Men's Basketball. He spent the last two seasons as Associate Head Coach at Utah State, where he helped the Aggies to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances and Mountain West Conference regular season and tournament championships last year.

Brock enters his fourth season as the head coach of Tarleton State Women's Basketball. The Texans made the WAC Tournament Semifinals last season after a WNIT run with a 20-14 overall record in 2024-25.

Season tickets for Tarleton State Basketball start as low as $125 for a combination season ticket for both the men's and women's home slates. For men's basketball season tickets only, prices start at $100, and for women's basketball season tickets only, prices start at $50.
