Tarleton State University Athletics

Will compete for a starting job in the Texan secondary this season after seeing limited playing time there in 2008.. 

2008: Played in two games for Tarleton with one solo and seven assisted tackles... Had half a sack for minus-one yard... Also had one fumble recovery... Registered four assisted tackles against Southeastern and one solo and three assisted stops against Southwestern Oklahoma... 

Previous Experience: Transferred to Tarleton from New Mexico Military Institute... Recorded nine tackles and one fumble recovery in 2007... 

High School: First team all-district selection as a junior... All-region football selection as a senior... Regional track meet qualifier... 

Personal: Son of Jerry and Felicia Uwajeh... 2005 graduate of Dulles High School in Houston... Has two siblings... Physical-Therapy major... Born July 9, 1987.
