• Was also named the Co-MVP of his team
Shasta College
• Spent his first year of collegiate competition at Shasta College where he averaged 19.0 points per game and was selected as an all-conference performer
High School
• As a senior, averaged 17.0 points per game and was recognized as one of the top three guards in Northern California behind DeMarcus Nelson who signed with Duke and Ayinde Ubaka who signed with California
• Was a first team all-section selection as a sophomore, junior and senior and helped his team to the section championships in all three of those seasons as well
