• Scored a career-high 11 points against Rice on Feb. 28, 2009
• Had 11 rebounds against Prairie View A&M on Nov. 29, 2006 as a freshman
• A three-year letterwinner at Houston who came on strong at end of 2009 season
• Appeared in 29 games with starts against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and against Conference USA-rival Memphis
• Posted nine points with five boards over Central Florida while adding eight points with four boards and two blocked shots in only 10 minutes against Tulane
• Had 11 points with nine boards, inlcuding eight off the offensive glass, in win over Rice in career-high game
• Recorded seven rebounds with two blocks in conference tournament game against Texas-El Paso
• As a sophomore, played in 17 games after playing in 28 games as a freshman
• Had 10 points and eight rebounds against Memphis while pulling down seven boards against Southern Mississippi, Tulsa and Grambling State

• Averaged 21.5 points, 13.8 rebounds, 7.6 blocked shots, 3.3 assists and 1.7 steals per game as a senior for coach Kirk Collier at Belleville High School

• A three-time District 20-3A high jump champion
• Named all-state first team his senior season and was district’s Most Valuable Player
• Selected to all-tournament team after he recorded 24 points, 23 rebounds and three blocked shots against Cameron
• He registered 31 double-doubles in 32 games and tallied a season-high 41 points to go along with 20 rebounds against Smithville
• As a junior, named District 20-3A Offensive Most Valuable Player after averaging 20 points, 13 rebounds and six blocked shots per outing
• Finished third at the state track meet in the high jump after winning the regional title

• As a sophomore, averaged 12.8 points, 12.1 rebounds and 5.7 blocked shots per contest
• Out of high school was recruited by Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Houston and Rice
