Sophomore (2013):
Took snaps under center in five games for the Texans as a sophomore as well as serving as the holder for the kicking unit and catching a seven-yard pass against Angelo State… Was 14-31 on the season with two touchdowns and threw for 224 yards… Also rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries.
 
Redshirt Freshman (2012):
Was a quarterback on the Texan roster and also saw limited action on some special teams.
 
Freshman (2011):
Redshirted as a true freshman.
 
Mesquite Horn High School:
Named third-team all-state QB as a senior… Was a team captain as a senior… Led his team to a regional championship in 2010 as a junior… Lettered all four years… Played for former Tarleton State standout and Hall of Famer, Rodney Webb.

Is a 2011 graduate of Horn High School in Mesquite… Son of Nona Kingrey and Scott Strahan… Has three siblings: Weston, Tanner and Paden… Majoring in Kinesiology… Born March 17, 1993.
