Texas-El Paso:
After redshirting as a true freshman, Brooks played in 10 games for the Miners all of which came in his sophomore season.
 
Arlington High School:
Three-star prospect by Rivals… Lettered three seasons in football… Had 10 sacks as a defensive lineman and was named first-team All-Inland Valley League in 2009… All-CIF team… Played for head coach Pat McCarthy.
 
Personal:
Is a 2010 graduate of Arlington High School in Riverside, California… Son of Cheryl and Gerard Brooks… Has a sister… Majoring in Business… Born July 31, 1992.
