Tarleton State University Athletics

Junior (2014):
LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Played in nine games with five starts at the center position on the offensive line… Member of the offensive line for Tarleton that lifted the Texans to the No. 3 total offense in the nation with 522.8 total yards per game… Led the Tarleton offense to 58 touchdowns, which is the second-most all-time in a single season for the Texans.
 
Redshirt Sophomore (2013):
Took over as the starting center after injuries opened the door… Started the final nine games for the Texans… Was a part of the Texan offense that accounted for 4,708 yards… As an anchor on the offensive line, Hinton and the Texan line allowed the fewest sacks of the QB in the Lone Star Conference (13 for 77 yards in 10 games).
 
Sophomore (2012):
Redshirted as a sophomore for the Texans.
 
Freshman (2011):
Played in six games as a freshman, earning two starts… Part of the No. 4-scoring offense in the LSC… Team allowed three sacks in his six games.
 
Rockwall High School:
Honorable mention all-academic as a senior… Second-team all-district offensive and defensive lineman for two seasons… Led his team to a district championship in 2010… Lettered three years in football, four years in wrestling and two in track and field… Played for head coach Scott Smith.
 
Personal:
Is a 2011 graduate of Rockwall High School… Son of Tammi and Robert Hinton… Has three siblings: Brandon, Danielle and Kaylee… Majoring in Kinesiology… Born Aug. 10, 1993.
