Sophomore (2013):
After coming back from a season-ending injury as a freshman, Wright caught his first career reception for a 27-yard touchdown against Southwestern Oklahoma on Nov. 9.
 
Redshirt Freshman (2012):
Transitioned to tight end from wide receiver… Suffered a season-ending injury.
 
Freshman (2011):
Redshirted as a wide receiver for Tarleton.
 
Granbury High School:
Named team captain of football and track team… Second-team all-state, first-team Fort Worth Star Telegram Super Team, THSCA all-state and first-team all-district as a senior wide receiver… First-team all-district defensive back as sophomore and junior… Second-team all-district WR in 2009… Member of area championship teams in 2008 and 2009… Member of regional track championship teams in 2009 and 2010… Lettered three years in football, three years in basketball, four years in track and four years in golf… Played for head coach Scotty Pugh.

Is a 2011 graduate of Granbury High School… Son of Wendy Gandy and Kevin Wright… Has two siblings, Brady and Cooper… Majoring in Kinesiology… Born Sept. 15, 1992.
