Tarleton State University Athletics

Senior (2014):
Among 182 athletes from Division I, II, III and NAIA in the nation into the first cut of nominees for the 2014 Allstate Goodworks Team… Will wear the No. 96 in memory of Tarleton’s Zach Shaver for the second straight season.
 
Junior (2013):
Honorable mention all-LSC… LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll with a perfect 4.0 GPA… Received the Zach Shaver award as a sophomore and wore the 96 in Shaver’s memory… Played in nine games for Tarleton… Recorded 32 tackles, including 17 solo tackles… Had 3.5 tackles for a loss, one sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
 
Sophomore (2012):
Honorable mention all-LSC… LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Started in seven of eight games in which he played… Had 31 tackles, including 11 solo… Had five tackles for a loss and two sacks.
 
Redshirt Freshman (2011):
Appeared in six games for the Texans… Had one tackle… Saw time at defensive end and deep snapper.
 
Freshman (2010):
Redshirted as a true freshman.
 
A&M-Consolidated High School:
Member of co-district champions in 2009… First-team all-district as offensive lineman and deep snapper as a senior… Third-team TWA all-state honors as a senior… Second-team all-district as a junior… State Farm academic all-state… Played for head coach Jim Slaughter.
 
Personal:
Is a 2010 graduate of A&M-Consolidated High School in College Station… Son of Sheila and David Bettiol… Has three siblings: Andrew, Kristen and Christopher… Majoring in Biomedical Sciences… Born Feb. 16, 1992.
