Junior (2014):
Served as the primary place kicker and punter for the Texans in his junior season… Set the school record for PATs made and attempted in a single game by going 11-11 against Texas A&M-Kingsville on Oct. 11… Second-most PATs made in a single season (56)… Moved into No. 2 on the school’s all-time list for FGs attempted (56), FGs made (40), PATs attempted (133), and PATs made (131)… Led the team in scoring with 85 points accounted for… Went 10-16 on field goals with a long of 49… Had 34 punts for 1188 yards with a long of 52 yards and 10 downed inside the 20-yard line.
 
Sophomore (2013):
Was 12-20 on field goal attempts for the season… Was 38-39 on Point After Touchdowns (PAT)… Scored 74 total points for the Texans, which was the most of any individual player on the team… Hit a season-long 45-yard field goal against Angelo State.
 
Freshman (2012):
Daktronics all-Super Region Four selection… Second-team all-LSC… Connected on 18-20 field goals, including a season-best long of 47 yards against Angelo State in the season finale… Was a perfect 38-38 on PATs… Led the team in individual scoring with 92 points… Tied a school-record of 5-for-5 field goals against Texas A&M-Commerce… Recorded a combined 96.5 percent success on kicking attempts, which ranked No. 1 in the nation.
 
Stephenville High School:
Helped SHS to the state quarterfinals as a junior and senior… All-district honorable mention as a junior… First-team all-district as a senior… Academic all-district in football and soccer as a junior and senior… Academic all-state as a senior in football and soccer… Honorable mention all-state in soccer as a senior… Played football for head coach, Joseph Gillespie.

Is a 2012 graduate of Stephenville High School… Son of Lori and Justin Barnes… Has two siblings, Tanner and Taylor… Majoring in Wildlife Management… Played alongside fellow Texans, Nic Perez, Kody Travis and Brayden Coverdale in high school… Born January 27, 1994.
