Honorable mention all-LSC … LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll … One of three punters in the LSC to average over 40 yards per punt at 41.0 yards per kick … Had the longest punt of all LSC punters with a 72-yard kick against Texas A&M-Commerce … Totaled 1,884 yards on 46 punts while downing 15 punts inside the 20-yard line … Boomed six punts over 50 yards.
 
Sophomore (2012):
Honorable mention all-LSC … LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll … Punted 38 times for 1,587 yards for an average of 41.8 yards per punt … Had eight punts on over 50 yards with a season-long of 59 yards.
 
Tyler Junior College:
Honorable mention all-conference as a kicker and a punter … Played for head coach Danny Palmer.
 
Trinity High School:
Helped his team win a state championship in 2007 … Led his team to a regional championship in 2008 … First-team all-district as a punter in 2008 … Second-team all-district as a kicker in 2008 … Academic all-state honorable mention as a senior … Played for head coach Steve Lineweaver.
