Transitioned from catcher to pitcher in his first season with Tarleton … Pitched in four games for the Texans … Had six strikeouts in 2.2 innings of work … Made his Tarleton debut against Angelo State on March 7.

Lettered three years in baseball for coach Pete Shimt … Received first team all-district honors at third base as a sophomore, second team all-district at catcher as a junior,  and first team all-district honors at catcher as a senior.

Is a 2011 graduate of Hutto High School … Son of Carol and Mike Drolette … Has two siblings, Taylor and Brittney … Sister, Brittney is a graduate of the kinesiology masters program and also competed on the track team for two years … Majoring in Sports Turf Management with a minor in Business … Born April 23, 1993.
