Grand Canyon University:
First-team All-WAC selection last season … Started 69 games for Grand Canyon over the last two seasons … As a sophomore, had a hand in nine double plays, anchoring third base for the majority of the season; had a 10-game hitting streak from April 11 to May 1; slugged his first career home run in the 11th inning of a May 15 game at Sacramento State to move GCU one game closer to the WAC title; hit his second career home run the next day to seal the Lopes' 2015 WAC championship in the regular season finale.
 
Rio Rico High School:
Lettered four years in baseball and was a team captain for head coach Eli Doyle … Also lettered in basketball … Broke two Arizona state baseball records by hitting .681 as a senior with 55 stolen bases … Had 40 runs and 31 RBIs and seven triples … Posted a .520 batting average as a junior in 2012 and was named to the Division III All-Arizona Second Team … Played select ball for The Show.
