Competed in the WMBL Summer League in Canada and was named the WMBL Rookie of the Year and All-Star First Team … Hit .360 in 47 games and set a Swift Current record with 54 RBIs … All-LSC First Team … LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll … Played and started all 48 games for the Texans … Hit .331 in 166 at bats with 47 runs scored and 25 RBIs … Was second on the team with 10 home runs … Finished Top 5 in the Lone Star Conference in hit by pitches, home runs, and slugging percentage.
 
Navarro College:
As a sophomore, hit a team-high .444 in 25 games and 72 at-bats … Hit four home runs and drove in 33 runs … His batting average ranks fourth on the school’s all-time list … Was named second team all-conference and academic all-conference … As a freshman, hit .224 in 20 games and 49 at-bats with three home runs and nine RBIs.
