A part of Tarleton’s first outright Lone Star Conference Championship ... Had five catches for 45 yards ... Had two catches for 24 yards in the NCAA Playoffs ... Second-team All-LSC … LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll … Played in all 11 games as a true freshman … Caught 15 passes for 170 yards and a touchdown … Had a season high three receptions on three different occasions … Made his first career catch against Southwest Baptist … Had a season high 46 yards receiving against Texas A&M-Commerce on Nov. 12 … Had his first career touchdown against Western New Mexico on Oct. 8.
 
Eastland High School:
Lettered three years in football and was a team captain for head coach and former Texan signal caller Cliff Watkins … Also lettered in basketball and track … Was the 2013 Defensive Newcomer of the Year and back-to-back first-team all-district selections as a junior and senior … In basketball, earned district newcomer and defensive player of the year honors … In the 2015 Area Championship game against Sonora, he caught eight passes for 254 yards … Was a three-year member of the Beta Club … Four-time member of the Silver Academic Team … Academic all-state honors in football and basketball … Played in the Big Country FCA All-Star game for head coach Casey Hubble and had 12 tackles.
