Played in 11 games at wide receiver for the Texans ... A part of Tarleton’s first outright Lone Star Conference Championship ... Had 14 catches for 177 yards and two touchdowns ... Had a breakout game against Angelo State with five receptions, 93 yards and a touchdown on Sept. 29 ... Followed with four receptions, 31 yards and a touchdown the next week against Eastern New Mexico ... Also had four tackles on defense and a fumble recovery against Texas A&M-Commerce ... Was second on the team in punt return yards with 82 on nine returns ... Returned one kickoff for 20 yards.

All-Conference … Played in nine games … Caught 30 passes for 581 yards and four touchdowns … Had a career game in the conference championship against San Diego Mesa with eight catches for 148 yards and a touchdown.

Lettered three years and was a team captain in football … Also lettered in basketball and track … Male Athlete of the Year … Third in the nation as a QB for rushing yards (1,323) and also threw for over 1,000 yards.
