Senior (2024):
UAC Second Team All-Conference at punter … Phil Steele FCS 2024 UAC Second Team All-Conference at punter … Served as Tarleton State’s primary punter and backup kicker most of the season … Covered 2,441 yards on 58 punts, averaging 42.1 yards per boot … Landed 23 inside the 20-yard line, one touchback and 22 fair catches … Had 10 punts go 50 or more yards, with a season-long punt of 70 yards against Austin Peay on Oct. 26 that pinned the Governors on their own 1-yard line … Was the UAC Special Teams Player of the Week in Week 0 after averaging 46.3 yards across his six boots, launching two 50-plus yards and two inside the 20, against McNeese on Aug. 24 … Nationally, the Texans were 10th in Net Punting (40.8 yds per) … Conference-wise, Guzman was second in punts inside the 20 and fourth in 50-yard punts … Also had five field goal attempts, making 2-of-5 (2-of-2 from 30-39 yards out), made 18-of-18 extra points, and had 50 kickoffs cover 3,114 yards (62.3 yards per) with 29 touchbacks … Tied the game at Southern Utah on Oct. 5 31-31 with a 32-yard make with 1:02 remaining in regulation, a game the Texans won in overtime 38-37.
 
Junior (2023):
Two-time UAC Special Teams Player of the Week … Made 13-of-18 field goals (.722), plus a perfect 45-of-45 on extra points … Finished as Tarleton State’s second leading scorer (84 points) … Was perfect from 40+ yards on the year (4-of-4), booting a season-long 44-yard field goal against Stephen F. Austin on Nov. 4 … Was perfect through the first six games, starting 7-of-7 on field goals and 21-of-21 on extra points … Became the first repeat winner of a UAC player of the week award in the history of the conference … Had one of his best games in the rainy conditions at Central Arkansas in Tarleton State’s upset win on Oct. 28, where he went 4-for-4 on field goals, including a 43-yard make … In conference play, had the tied-third most field goal makes on the season (nine), and was second in average scoring at 9.0 points per game … Averaged 40.4 yards on his punts, covering 1,739 yards on 43 boots … Of his 43 punts, landed 15 of them inside the 20-yard line … Had five punts go 50+ yards, topped out by a 61-yard punt against Morehead State on Oct. 21 … Didn’t have a single punt touchback this season, the only punter in the UAC who can say that … Had the second most fair catches at 25.
 
Sophomore (2022):
Was Tarleton State’s lone kicker in 10 games … Made 9-of-13 (.692) field goals, his career-best field goal percentage … Was a perfect 3-for-3 on field goals in the season-opener, a season-high in makes set vs. Mississippi Valley State on Sept. 1 … Made his first eight field goal attempts of the season across the first six games … Made a career-long 47-yard field goal at TCU on Sept. 10 … Made 37-of-38 extra point attempts, including his final 36 attempts … Was the WAC’s Special Teams Player of the Week twice, his first thanks to his 47-yard FGM at TCU, his second after Tarleton State’s fourth game, in which he went 2-for-2 on field goals from 35 and 20 yards out, plus 5-of-5 on extra points in the Texans’ 43-28 win at North Alabama on Sept. 24 … Had 56 kickoffs cover 3,097 yards, with 16 touchbacks.
 
Freshman (2021):
Was Tarleton State’s lone kicker in all 11 games … Made 10-of-16 (.625) field goals … Was a perfect 5-of-5 from inside the 30-yard line … Was perfect in four games, including Sept. 11 vs. Fort Lewis, in which he made 1-of-1 field goals and a season-high 7-of-7 extra points … Made his season-long 37-yard field goal at Dixie State on Oct. 16 … Had a season-high two field goal makes twice, at Dixie State and vs. New Mexico Highlands on Sept. 25 … Made 36-of-37 (.973) extra point attempts … Booted 60 kickoffs, going for 3,414 yards (56.9 yards per kickoff), 21 going for a touchback.
 
Freshman (2020):
Was Tarleton State’s primary kicker as a true freshman … Made 11-of-16 field goals (.678) … Had a season-high three field goal makes in three different games, including a perfect 3-of-3 mark against Mississippi College on March 6 … Made 9-of-11 field goals under 40 yards, including an unblemished 6-of-6 record from 30-39 yards … Drilled 2-of-3 field goals from 40-49 yards, with his longest make at 45 yards … Made his only PAT attempt … Played in all eight games … Had 35 kickoffs, averaging 51.9 yards per kick with seven touchbacks … Made the first points in Tarleton Division I history with a 38-yard field goal in the first quarter against McNeese State on Feb. 13 … Made a field goal in each of the two overtimes, including a 45-yard attempt in 2OT, in the season opener.
