Biography

Redshirt Freshman (2022):
Named the WAC Newcomer of the Year, one of five major postseason awards the conference hands out … Started all 11 games, completing 193-of-340 (.568) passes for 2,836 yards, 23 touchdowns and 11 interceptions … Had a QB rating of 142.7, averaging 257.8 passing yards per game, rushing it 79 times for 110 yards and a touchdown … Led the WAC in pass touchdowns (23, 16th in FCS), passing yards (2,838, 17th in FCS), plus had the most 300+ yard games on the season (five) … Had the tied-third most 300+ yard games in a single-season in program history, tied with Steve Kelley (2001), only behind Kevin Vickers (seven, 1994) and Cliff Watkins (six, 2003) ... On Oct. 8 in Tarleton's 42-40 win at Southern Utah, threw for a career-high 406 passing yards, adding three touchdowns, while leading the team in rushing with 55 yards on 11 attempts … His 406 yards passing in that game are the 11th most in Tarleton Football history and the 12th 400+ yard game in program history, plus were the second most thrown by a WAC QB in 2022 ... In the game prior, Tarleton's 43-28 win at North Alabama, earned WAC Offensive Player of the Week honors after throwing for 316 yards and a career-high four touchdowns, while adding 32 yards on seven carries … His four touchdown passes in that game were tied for the third-most TD passes by a WAC QB in 2022, and his 86-yard pass to Jaden Smith during the game was the longest pass in the conference.
 
Kentucky:
Spent the last two seasons at Kentucky, playing in five games, completing 11-of-19 (.579) passes for 132 yards, plus a rushing touchdown … In 2021, was No. 2 on the depth chart, playing in three games against Louisville, New Mexico State and Louisiana-Monroe … Had his rushing touchdown against New Mexico State … In 2020, played against Alabama and Vanderbilt … Made his collegiate debut against Vanderbilt, completing 3-of-5 passes for 40 yards … Chose Kentucky over offers from Georgia, Michigan, Michigan State, Cincinnati, Maryland, Washington State, West Virginia, Marshall and Duke, among others.
