Junior (2023):
Ended the season with a 6-2 record, 4.16 ERA, 56 strikeouts to 19 walks and 71.1 innings pitched, all team-highs … Tarleton was 10-3 in games Day started … Made a start in all 13 weekend series for Tarleton, the only pitcher on the team to do so … Became Tarleton’s Friday night pitcher on 3/31 at UTRGV and continued in that role the rest of the season … His 4.16 ERA ranked ninth in the WAC … Allowed the seventh fewest walks (19) and earned runs (33) in the WAC … Allowed the third fewest home runs among all WAC pitchers … Only two home runs allowed in league play … Tossed the fourth most innings per game (5.49) in the WAC … Threw 6.0 innings allowing no earned runs on four hits, striking out six and walking none in a win at UTSA (2/19) … Struck out a season-high eight allowing no runs in a win over PVAMU (3/5) … Threw 6.0 innings allowing three runs  on eight hits and striking out four in a win over UTA (3/12) … Struck out seven in 7.0 innings, allowing just two runs in a win over UIW (3/19) … Allowed one run in 7.0 innings, striking out four and walking none in a win over NM State (4/21) … Threw 8.0 innings of one run baseball, walking none and striking out five in a win over Seattle U (4/28) … Struck out five and walked one, allowing two runs in 6.0 innings of work in a win over ACU (5/12) … Shut out the league’s best offense (SHSU) in 6.1 innings, allowing just four hits in a Texan win (5/18).

North Iowa Area CC (2021-22):
Played two seasons for the Trojans … Appeared in 15 games, starting nine over his career …  Finished the 2022 season with a 3.26 ERA, 2-1 record and struck out 22 batters while allowing only nine walks in 19.1 innings pitched … Held a 3.69 ERA his freshman season … Tossed 39.0 innings, making five starts … Struck out 46 batters and allowed only 12 walks … Ended his career striking out 10.49 batters per nine innings … Pitched for the St. Cloud Rox in the Northwoods League throughout the 2022 summer ball season … Was named a Northwoods League All Star after completing the season with an 8-0 record … Pitched 52.0 innings and held a 3.46 ERA … Struck out 34 and walked 15.

Thomas Jefferson High School:
Lettered three years in baseball … Was named all-conference, all-section and all-state in Class 4A in 2019 … Earned the Cy Young award on his team in 2018 and 2019 … Was ranked the No. 11 overall player in the class of 2020 in Minnesota by Prep Baseball Report … Lettered one year in football.
