Recorded 119 strikeouts and 28 walks in 65 innings during junior season... Also posted a 12-4 record as a junior... Served as alternate on state championship mile relay team in 2006...

Personal: 2007 graduate of Aubrey High School... Parents are Pam and Mark Smith... Has two sisters, Mellisa and Christy... Major is undecided... Birthdate is July 21, 1989... Says his best asset to the team is his leadership.
