As a Sophomore (2013)
• Collected five hits with one home run in 26 at bats for a .192 batting average
• Made 15 pitching apperances
• Tallied a 2.61 earned run average and an 0-1 record
• Struck out 20 batters in 20.2 innings pitched

As a Freshman (2012)
• Started 36 games for the Texans and batted .261 in 138 plate appearances
• Recorded seven doubles and four home runs
• Had 18 runs batted in and scored 20 runs

High School
• Was a four-year letterman in baseball
• Helped his team win Area championships in 2009 and 2010
• Was named to the first team All-State in 2011
• Won the 2011 Texas League (AA) All-Star Weekend Home Run Derby
