When the 2023 season begins, Reece Garvie will begin his second season as Director of Operations for the Texans.
Garvie helps organize the day-to-day activities associated with the baseball program and has a hand in team travel, recruiting and summer camps.

Garvie was an infielder for the Texans in 2021 after transferring from Pittsburg State. He played in six games, starting four of them, before his season was cut short due to injury. He recorded his first hit and scored a run in the Texans first ever Division 1 game vs. Abilene Christian on February 20.

At Pittsburg State, Garvie played three seasons and started all 54 games in 2018. He was voted First-Team All-Region as a designated hitter by NCBWA and First-Team All-MIAA.

Garvie earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Pittsburg State in 2020 and graduated from Tarleton State in 2021 with a Masters in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Administration.
