In 2023, he made 14 appearances on the mound, two of those starting... registered a 6.39 ERA with a 1-3 record striking out 14 and walking 15 in 25.1 innings pitched... against Texas (3/28) he compiled three strikeouts and allowed no runs in 3.0 IP... in his first appearance on the mound this season Sexton struck out two in 2.1 innings versus Lamar (2/21).
