2012: Started in seven games for the Texans at quarterback…Finished the season 153-for-244 with 1,579 yards, 10 touchdowns and nine interceptions…Threw for a 62.7 completion percentage, which ranks third-best in school history for a single-season... Tallied a 123.21 efficiency rating.
 
2011: Played in six games as a sophomore... Finished the year 14-for-27 with 145 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions... Threw for a 51.9 completion percentage and a 109.19 efficiency rating... Had a breakout performance against A&M-Commerce where he went 5-for-5 with a touchdown.??
 
2010: Played in four games... Rushed for 49 yards on 19 carries... Completed 42 of 81 passes for 482 yards and only two interceptions.??

2009: Redshirted due to an injury as a freshman.??
 
High School: Graduated in 2009 from Evant High School... Named first team all-state as a senior at the quarterback position... Was named the district Most Valuable Player... Threw for 2,400 yards with 33 touchdowns... Rushed for 1,300 yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior as well... Recorded 178 tackles...  Named team captain... Named District Offensive MVP and All-State honorable mention as a junior... Named District Offensive MVP and first team All-State as a defensive back as a sophomore... Lettered in football for four years and baseball, basketball and track for two years each... Played for Head Coach Keith Stifflemire.??
