Biography

Senior (2021):
Phil Steele FCS All-WAC Fourth Team … Played in nine games, posting three interceptions, six pass breakups and 36 total tackles (32 solo) … Had the second most interceptions and tied-second most pass breakups on the team … Had his best game against the No. 1 ranked team in the nation, Sam Houston, on Oct. 30, earning a season-high 10 tackles (all solo) to go with an interception … Had three interceptions in his last five games … Had three pass breakups vs. Midwestern State on Oct. 23.
 
Senior (2020):
Was instrumental in Tarleton’s 39-14 win over Mississippi College on March 6 by recovering a fumble and scoring from 48 yards out and blocking a PAT that he returned 98 yards for a two-point safety … Was involved in both blocked kicks by the Texans, returning a blocked field goal attempt 68 yards for a touchdown against East Central on April 1 … Was one of two Texans with an interception and a fumble recovery and one of three Texans with multiple turnovers … One of three Texans with an interception, picking off New Mexico State on Feb. 21 and returning it 53 yards, leading to a Tarleton touchdown … Had 29 tackles (20 solo), a fumble recovery, an interception, two blocked kicks and six pass breakups … Made a season-high six tackles twice (Feb. 21 at New Mexico State and Feb. 27 vs. Dixie State) … Phil Steele FCS Preseason All-Independent Team.
 
Junior (2019):
D2CCA All-Region Second Team … All-LSC Second Team … Started all 12 games for the Texans … Led Tarleton to its second straight undefeated regular season and Lone Star Conference Championship … A part of the Tarleton defense that ranked No. 2 in the nation in team passing efficiency defense (91.64) and No. 10 in the nation in scoring defense (16.5) … Made 38 tackles, including 31 solo … Had four interceptions and returned two for touchdowns … Had seven additional pass breakups … Made a season-high five tackles on four different occasions … Had his first career interceptions against West Texas A&M on Sept. 21 and returned it 36 yards for a touchdown.
