Played in six games at quarterback his first season at Tarleton … Completed 11-of-26 (.423) passes for 134 yards, with one touchdown and one interception … Rushed for 57 yards on eight attempts, averaging 7.1 yards per rush … Had his best game against Fort Lewis on Sept. 11, completing 6-of-11 passes for 93 yards and a touchdown, a 7-yard strike to Darius Cooper … Longest completion was 34 yards to Khalil Banks against Fort Lewis … Made his Tarleton debut in the season opener at Stephen F. Austin on Sept. 4, posting 15 passing yards and six rushing yards.
 
Garden City Community College:
Played in eight games in the spring season, throwing for 634 yards on 49.5 percent passing (55-of-111), four touchdowns and no interceptions … Had a season-high two touchdowns on 11-of-16 (.688) passing for 144 yards against Independence Community College on April 17 … Threw for a season-high 217 yards to go with a score against Hutchinson Community College on April 25.

Played senior season at Lakeridge High School, junior and sophomore seasons at Mountain View High School, and freshman year at Crook County High School … Was a four-year starter and team captain all four years … Completed 60 percent of his passes for 1,249 yards and 15 touchdowns at Lakeridge … Also rushed for 563 yards and eight touchdowns … Threw for 262 yards, ran for 256 yards and scored five touchdowns in one game at Mountain View … Named the Intermountain Conference Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year as a sophomore … Threw for 1,327 yards and 17 touchdowns while adding 720 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground that season … Also played four years of varsity baseball, basketball and track.
