Junior (2022):
Second Team All-WAC … Played all 11 games at linebacker, finishing with 65 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, two interceptions, a fumble recovery, a forced fumble, two pass breakups and four quarterback hurries … Led the team in sacks, had the tied-second most tackles for loss and the third most total tackles ... Had the tied-fourth most interceptions in the WAC … Averaged the ninth most tackles per game in the WAC (5.8) … At Southern Utah on Oct. 8, won the game for the Texans with an interception to preserve Tarleton's 42-40 win … Against Southwest Baptist on Oct. 22, had a season-high 11 tackles, to go with a sack and 1.5 tackles for loss.
Henderson State:
Was with Henderson State the last four years (2018-21, no season in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic) … Last season, had the tied-second most tackles on the team, 65, with the most solo tackles, 48, adding an interception, fumble recovery, two pass breakups and 1.5 TFL in 11 games … Had 12 tackles and a fumble recovery against Harding on Oct. 16 … Was Second Team All-Conference, plus Academic All-Conference … In 2019, played and started in 11 games, finishing with 52 tackles (35 solo), 3.0 tackles for loss, two interceptions, two pass breakups and a fumble recovery … Recorded his first career interception against NWOSU (Oct. 5) and returned it 36 yards for a touchdown … Intercepted a pass and recovered a fumble against Southeastern Oklahoma (Oct. 26).
