2008: Named First Team All-LSC South Division... Named to Don Hansen’s Football Gazette All-Super Region Four Second Team... Was second in the league with 93.1 yards rushing per game... Ran 137 times for 1,024 yards, an average of 7.5 yards per carry... Had 13 touchdowns and led the Texans in scoring with 90 points after receiving touchdown and a 93-yard kickoff return for a score... Was a LSC South Player of the Week twice, once for offense and once for special teams... 

2007: Played in all 11 games for the Texans… Led the team with a total of 642 rushing yards on 100 attempts… Averaged 6.4 yards per carry and scored six touchdowns… Broke for a season long gain of 61 yards against Southeastern Oklahoma… Had seven receptions for 17 yards and one touchdown… Was fourth on the team with a total of seven touchdowns and 42 points scored… Ranked third on the team with 58.4 yards of total offense per game…

2006: Named Lone Star Conference South Division Co-Freshman of the Year… Selected as LSC South Division Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 10…Played in nine games at the running back position and was second on the team with nine touchdowns… Recorded 742 yards on 96 attempts and averaged 7.7 yards per carry and 82.4 yards per game… Also had 10 receptions for 64 total yards…

High School: 2006 graduate of West Mesquite High... First team all-district during senior year... Recorded 148 yards on 9 carries and 1 touchdown his junior year and 1715 yards and 19 touchdowns his senior year... Regional finalist in track and field during junior and senior seasons...

Personal: Parents are Roderick Smith Sr. and Melissa Brown... Has three brothers and one sister... Major is communications... Birthdate is April 19, 1988.
