Competed at FIU from 2012-15 … Kicked his first collegiate field goal from 32 yards out at the University of Maryland.

Lettered four years in football and was a team captain for head coach Richard Stuart … Also lettered three years in soccer … Led his team to the 3A State Championship game in 2011 … Four-time all-district … Second-team all-state as a senior … Kicked a 49-yard field goal against Northwestern to qualify for the playoffs and end their rivals’ 20-plus year run of consecutive playoff appearances … Competed in two All-Star Games, including the Private-Public Game in the spring of 2012 where he kicked the game-winning 30-yard field goal.
