Sophomore (2017):
LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll … Pitched in 17 games, earning one start in his debut season for Tarleton … Boasted a 3.92 ERA in 20.2 innings of work … Struck out 15 … Pitched in eight Lone Star Conference games without allowing an earned run in league action … Had a season-high three strikeouts against West Texas A&M on April 23.

Appeared in four games as a relief pitcher … Totaled 6.0 innings … Finished with a 4.50 ERA … Fanned three hitters … Pitched a season-long 3.0 innings vs. Arkansas (Feb. 27) … Also saw action vs. Baylor (March 4), vs. Texas Southern (March 16) and vs. Memphis (May 6) … Did not making any game appearances as a true freshman … The American All-Academic Team in 2015.

Earned two varsity letters in baseball for the Aledo Bearcats under head coach Chad Barry ... Played an integral role on the 2014 State Championship baseball team ... Tossed a no-hitter vs. Trimble Tech and earned the win in the State Semifinals game in 2014 ... Notched an 11-2 record with a 1.69 ERA and a 0.83 WHIP his senior season ... Also went 5-1 with a 1.04 ERA in 40.1 innings during the 2014 playoffs ... In 2013, helped team to a Bi-District Championship ... Named First Team All-District and All-County Pitcher of the Year ...
