Biography
Sophomore (2022-23):
Appeared in 21 games and started twice… Averaged 2.3 points and 0.8 rebounds while playing 11.8 minutes per game… Dished out 11 assists and notched six steals… Scored a season-high 10 points coming in 26 minutes off the bench on Jan. 5 against Southern Utah.
Freshman (2021-22):
Played in all 31 games as a true freshman with 18 starts, averaging 6.2 points and 2.3 rebounds in 24.4 minutes per game … He shot 34-for-88 from behind the arc (38.6%)… Two-Time WAC Freshman of the Week selection on Jan. 10 and Jan. 31 becoming the first Texan to earn multiple weekly WAC Awards in the same season … Scored a career-high 25 points, shot 11-for-12 from the charity stripe and grabbed five rebounds and two assists, vs. Dallas Christian on Dec. 7 … Notched six double-digit scoring games … Drained 4-of-6 from downtown as part of his 17 points, three rebounds and three steals performance against Dixie State on Dec. 30.

Earned three varsity basketball letters for the Wildcats … Ranked No. 9 overall among all prep shooting guards in the state of Texas as a senior ... Averaged 23.7 points per game during his final high school season, which ranked third-best across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex … Also averaged 5.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.7 steals per contest while shooting 50.9 percent from the floor … Connected at a 35.9 percent clip from downtown and shot 85.1 percent at the foul line … In 2020-21, led Lake Highlands to a 19-8 overall record, District 7-6A second place finish and a third round appearance in the TX UIL 6A Boys State Basketball Tournament … Selected as the District 7-6A Offensive Player of the Year and received Class 6A TABC All-Region recognition at the conclusion of his prep career … Scored 1,235 points in his three years with the Wildcats … Chose Tarleton over offers from Army, Bucknell, Denver, Navy, Texas State and UC Riverside … Was a dedicated student throughout high school, maintaining a 3.8 grade point average … Earned District 7-6A All-Academic and TABC Academic All-State accolades all three years … He was also a member of the Richardson ISD Student Athlete Leadership Team … Competed on the club circuit for Triumph Basketball under coach Damon Hodge as well.
