Daisy Luera, MS, LAT, ATC

When the 2025-26 athletic season begins, Daisy Luera will enter her second season at Tarleton State. Luera works with the Track and Field program, along with the Texans Stars. In her first season, Luera worked with the Texan Football, Men's Basketball, and Cross Country/Track & Field teams as a floater.
 
Luera came to Tarleton State from Cameron University in Oklahoma where she was the Athletic Trainer for Cameron's Softball, Women's Basketball, and Cross Country/Track & Field teams.
 
Prior to her professional experience, Luera earned her Master's of Science in Athletic Training from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2023 where she worked with the Islander Baseball and Women's Basketball teams. Luera also gained experience working in the secondary setting, Rodeo, and Physical Therapy while at TAMU-CC. Luera earned her Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Physiology from The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2020, where she worked as an Athletic Training Student Intern for the football, baseball, and basketball teams.
 
Luera is CPR/AED certified from the American Heart Association, Blood Flow Restriction certified and will obtain her Dry Needling Certfication. 
 
A native of Fort Worth, Luera now resides in Stephenville with her dog, Murph.
