Senior (2024):
UAC Second Team All-Conference … Phil Steele FCS 2024 UAC Second Team All-Conference … Started all 14 games … Led the team in tackles with 97 (48 solo), adding two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, three pass breakups and two tackles for loss … His 97 tackles marked a new Texan NCAA Division I record for tackles in a season, most since EJ Speed had 106 in 2018 … Was tied-second in fumble recoveries, tied-fifth in tackles (tied-47th in FCS) and tied-ninth in interceptions in the entire conference … Had three games 10+ tackles, recording a season-high 18 at Southern Utah on Oct. 5 … Completed his Texan career with 15 tackles and a TFL against No. 4 South Dakota in the second round of the FCS Playoffs … Had three straight games with a takeaway (two fumble recoveries, one interception) from Oct. 26-Nov. 9.
