Entering 2025-26, Andrew Loewe will begin his third season at Tarleton State Athletics as the Assistant Director for Athletic Communications.
For the 2025-26 season, Loewe ill serve as the primary media contact for men’s basketball, women’s golf, cross country and track and field programs. In 2024-25, he served as the primary media contact for men’s basketball, women’s soccer, cross country and track and field programs. In 2023-24, Loewe was the primary media contact for men’s basketball, women’s soccer and women’s golf. He also assists in gameday operations for all other sports.
Loewe joined Tarleton State after serving one year as an athletics communications graduate assistant at St. John’s University. There he served as the primary media contact for volleyball, softball, men’s tennis and women’s tennis, plus he was the tertiary contact for men’s basketball. As a primary contact, he produced all web releases, social media postings and worked hand-in-hand with the coaching staff to meet their needs as requested. For men’s basketball, he worked closely with the New York media to handle credential requests and interviews for all home contests.
Before his time in New York, he worked in the sports information department as a student worker for four years at Ohio Northern University. There he wrote web releases and served as a statistician for all sports on campus, all while playing three years for the Polar Bear baseball team.
A Cedar Lake, Indiana, native, Loewe received his bachelor’s degree in applied statistics from Ohio Northern University in 2022 while also earning minors in business analytics, computer science and data analytics. He currently resides in Stephenville, Texas, with his fiancé, Emma.
